A large industrial park located in Southeast Asia has been expanding rapidly in recent years, and newly constructed factories, logistics zones, and worker dormitory areas are in need of stable lighting. The climate of the area is hot and humid with abundant rainfall and sometimes the grid unstable, which makes the traditional wired street lighting to face high maintenance and installation costs.
This year, their management team sought an energy-independent, low-maintenance, and cost-effective lighting solution that could cover internal roads (3–6 meters pole height), pedestrian routes, and loading areas without relying on extensive cabling work. After evaluating multiple solutions, Casyoo’s Helios One Series All-in-One Solar Street Light (120W version) was selected for the project.
Challenge
When we assessed the site, we found out that the problems are more complicated than we thought. The park experiences long periods of cloudy weather and heavy rain that have the potential to affect solar charging. Also, the coastal climate will bring high humidity and corrosion risks. We aimed to provide a consistent, off-grid lighting solution that would run for 10-12 hours a night and work within the environmental constraints. Simultaneously, fast installation was required to prevent interference with the current construction and logistics processes.
Our Solution
To meet the industrial park’s requirements, we developed a detailed lighting plan centered on the 120W Helios One Series All-in-One Solar Street Light. Our team first mapped the road network and evaluated the exposure of individual installation points, and calculated the required spacing to achieve uniform brightness along all internal roads.
We positioned the 120W units along the main transport routes where vehicle and worker traffic was most concentrated. The all-in-one structure enabled us to install the system quickly, without trenching or cabling. Each light integrates a monocrystalline solar panel, a LiFePO₄ battery, a high-output LED module, and a smart control unit, which significantly simplified installation and long-term maintenance.
We have used the following major settings to maximize performance in the Southeast Asia humid and cloudy climate:
High-efficiency 6V monocrystalline solar panels (up to 15W)→ to maintain strong charging even during overcast days.
Long-life LiFePO₄ batteries→ to support 10–12 hours of nightly lighting, which offer consistent performance throughout the rainy season.
Radar motion sensing + intelligent light control→ ensure that brighter lights are on as people or vehicles are in motion, and less light is used when people are not in a hurry.
Corrosion-resistant ABS + PC housing→ ideal for coastal areas where salinity is high and the temperature changes.
With these settings, we delivered a solar lighting system capable of long operating hours, fast deployment, and minimal maintenance—ensuring the industrial park could operate safely and efficiently at night.
Result
After installation, the 120W Helios One solar street lights were able to provide consistent and reliable nighttime lighting in the industrial park. This was a very strong system for real-life working conditions even over extended periods when the weather was in overcast conditions. It was also able to support the estimated time of lighting. The park achieved off-grid lighting along some kilometers of the internal roads, which saved the cost of using electricity. Besides, the infrastructure cost required to install the wired lighting.
The reduced complexity of installation contributed to further shortening project schedules and the park was able to complete its road lighting upgrades without disturbing its operational process. Employees indicated that the visibility and safety during night shifts are increased, and management highlighted the project as part of its transition toward a more sustainable and energy-efficient industrial environment. The installation was also a success and established a precedent for how further stages of the park expansion will take place in the future. Now, other roads can utilize the same all-in-one solar lighting prototype with minimum engineering efforts.
Featured Product
The Helios One Series is one of our cost-effective all-in-one solar street lighting for projects that need a consistent and energy-independent outdoor source of illumination. Each unit integrates a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel (up to 15W), a long-life LiFePO₄ battery (up to 12,000mAh), and a high-output LED array into a compact ABS + PC housing engineered for corrosion resistance and dependable performance in harsh climates. The system is capable of providing a clear daylight of 6500K and a maximum of 12 hours of operation using a mix of intelligent light control, time schedule and radar motion sensing.
