3. Do solar lights charge on rainy days?
Yes, solar street lights can charge on rainy days, but the energy they collect will decrease. They can work on rainy days by using the energy the battery stores on sunny days. On rainy days, the controller will reduce the intensity of light in case the following days are all rainy days.
4. How do you make solar lights brighter?
To make solar lights brighter, you can opt for higher wattage LED lights or lower the pole height. Regular maintenance, including cleaning the solar panel and ensuring proper battery function, can also improve energy collection and storage efficiency.
5. Why solar lights won’t shut off in daylight?
- There may be some problems with the controller as itis what receives the signal and controls when the light should light up.
- Maybe the light sensor makes wrong judgement. Try to reduce its sensitivity or replace it.
6. How do I know if my solar batteries are still good?
Inspect your solar batteries for damage or corrosion and use a multimeter to measure the voltage after a day of charging. If the voltage is similar to that of a new battery, it’s still good. Measuring the current with an ammeter while connected to the solar panel can also identify issues.
